JUST IN: Final Pre-Trial Motion Rulings Come Down Ahead Of Tuesday’s Karen Read and John O’Keefe Re-Trial

Here are all of the rulings that have just come down related to the final outstanding motions heading into opening statements of the Karen Read and John O’Keefe re-trial on April 22, 2025.

Read lost her motion the “image the entire file” of a Canton police detective, Read lost her motion to ban state witness James Crosby from testifying about the ridiculous claims by Karen’s mom that a dog is the actual culprit in the case (there is no dog DNA involved in the trial, from either side), the state won its motion to introduce extrajudicial statements of Karen Read, Read won a motion for more discovery from the state about any witnesses who may have been reluctant to testify during trial (probably because of Karen’s PR campaign to torment such witnesses).

These rulings, of course, will play second fiddle to the major news from Wednesday’s final hearing before next week’s re-trial begins: Turtle-Man-Blogger hybrid Aidan TurtleBoy Kearney became the first, and only, witnesses involved in the Read case to take the Fifth Amendment. Kearney was turtlewalked to the bench by Judge Cannone, at the request of Prosecutor Hank Brennan, and personally compelled to invoke that Fifth Amendment privilege (as to Kearney’s open felony cases regarding tormenting witnesses, and journalist Lindsey Gaetani, in the orbit of the Read case). Kearney, of course, leaked information to Gaetani confirming Karen Read’s direct communication with then-U.S. Attorney Josh Levy (apparently for the purposes of using a pretextual federal probe into John O’Keefe’s death for the purposes of investigating the coverup of Sandra Birchmore’s murder).
